There are a lot of bears that make their home at Insanity Acres. Most of them are grizzlies although we have seen a few black bears. Occasionally we have one that gets too close for comfort, especially during harvest time. Because their main focus in the fall is to pack on as much fat as possible for their long winter's nap and the fact that some of our oat fields are close to our homes, it is not unusual for one to wander too close. |
